"Baroque Blue" evokes a sense of enigmatic beauty and otherworldly allure, drawing viewers into its mesmerizing depths. Mr. Ranbir Kaleka fondly describes his artwork, “Deep unfathomable waters hold an alien grace; mysteries secreted away. Elegant hands perhaps once held the gold scrolled teapot that now floats down into the folds of the sea. Where did it come from? Did some ill-fated ship once skirt the waters above? Untranslatable stories dance among the denizens of the depths…such is the symphony of Baroque Blue”.
Each element of the seascape is meticulously embroidered using a variety of techniques, including back stitch, satin stitch variations, knot work, and spring stitches, bringing the marine motifs to life with remarkable realism. The interplay of light and shadow is captured through expertly blended shades, achieved by twisting different yarns together. Strategic 3D effects further enhance the depth and dimension of the motifs, adding a lifelike quality to the composition. This extraordinary piece took approximately 8,000 hours to complete.
