Nighttime Odyssey immerses viewers in a mystical nocturnal landscape, transforming the journey into a deeply introspective experience. Illuminated by distant stars, the path symbolizes a quest for self-discovery.
Strategically raised elements in the artwork create an immersive 3D display, while silk threads capture the play of light from planets and stars in the night sky, adding subtle shading. The rugged mountains, raw forests, and sharp cityscapes are brought to life through a variety of thread techniques—knots, springs, loop stitches, satin stitches, cross stitches, and more—each carefully chosen to reflect the essence of these landscapes. This artwork took approximately 4750 hours of handwork to be completed.
