His portfolio includes a remarkable range of paintings characterized by vivid phantasmagoria and epic themes, as well as innovative trans-media projects that blend conceptual sophistication with a rich visual opulence.

Biography
Ranbir Kaleka is an Indian multimedia artist who creates surreal narratives in his work. Originally trained as a painter, Kaleka expanded into video art where he became known for integrating film and painting. His work Turbulence, Veiled, Unveiled (2019) is a video installation of a digital collage on canvas that focuses on conveying people’s inner turmoil. The Spertus Museum commissioned him to create a site-specific installation, including a painting and oral testimonies from Auschwitz to commemorate the Holocaust. The recipient of the National Award by the President of India at the 22nd National Exhibition of Art in 1979, Kaleka graduated from the College of Art, Chandigarh with a diploma in painting. He received a Charles Wallace Scholarship to study art at London’s Royal College of Art. His work has been exhibited at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and FotoFest International.
